So I thought I was alone. I was
shocked when I recently discovered that a good number of ladies would like to
stay single but get kids and live with them. I guess it’s not that they have
lived for so long too have experienced dramatic events if anything most are in
their twenties.
Apparently the perfect set up for
them is finding a man they like or love. He gives her kids and hey she moves on
without him being present in her life or that of her kids.
Then comes to mind the reason as to
why a perfectly normal lady would opt for this. Most probably it’s the current
trends with divorce rates going high by the day, why should I waste time with
someone only to end up losing not only my time but things I have been working
at for so long. Few marriages are making it to the 20th anniversary.
The need for independence as a woman also comes in; you do not want someone to
boss you around: does this do that. One just wants kids and goes back to the
lives they had before, no need to be tied down by commitment. Furthermore there
are more serious matters to deal with.
One would then conclude that such
ladies low sex drive. Extremely wrong, of course being human “lady S” has all
these needs. This is where a partnership comes in .You meet my needs I meet yours,
purely sexual needs, it’s not like she needs a man’s hand financially. No man
in this age and time would refuse such an offer. This may be “morally
incorrect” or should I say against religious principles but hey that depends on
you.
As much as there may be a dark side
to this kind of set up or “self marriage” I don’t see it, am blinded by the
good side, may be you tell me.
